1. Introduction
By accessing and using this website or making reservations with Ceylon Trip Mate (Pvt) Ltd ("Company", "We", "Us", "Our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept any part of these terms, you should refrain from using this website or our services.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made directly through Ceylon Trip Mate, including hotel reservations, transport, excursions, and other travel-related services.
2. Booking and Payment Terms
2.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total booking value.

For peak season bookings, a 50% advance payment is required.

Full payment must be received 30 days prior to arrival unless specified otherwise.
2.2 Payment Methods
Payments can be made via:

Bank transfer (international transfer fees to be borne by the customer).

Credit/Debit Cards (Visa & MasterCard, with a 2.65% handling fee).
All payments are processed through a secure payment gateway.
2.3 Pricing & Currency

All prices are quoted in USD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), or LKR (Sri Lankan Rupees).

Prices are subject to changes due to currency fluctuations, government tax revisions, or supplier rate changes.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
More than 45 days before arrival – Full refund minus administrative fees.

45 to 30 days before arrival – 50% cancellation fee.

21 to 29 days before arrival – 75% cancellation fee.

Less than 21 days before arrival – No refund.
No refunds for unused services once the tour has commenced.
4. Amendments & Changes

All requests for amendments must be made in writing and are subject to availability.
5. Travel Insurance

Customers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal liability.

Ceylon Trip Mate shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death occurring during the trip.
6. Passports, Visas & Health Requirements

Customers must ensure they have valid passports, visas, and vaccinations before travel.

Ceylon Trip Mate does not take responsibility for denied boarding or entry due to insufficient documentation.
7. Limitation of Liability

We act as an intermediary between customers and service providers (hotels, transport companies, airlines, etc.).

We shall not be held liable for service failures caused by third-party providers.

In cases of force majeure events (war, terrorism, natural disasters, pandemics), we will assist in rebooking but are not liable for refunds.
8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property or transport services.

Customers must comply with local laws, customs, and hotel policies.

Disruptive behavior may lead to service termination without refunds.
9. Website Usage & Data Protection

12. Complaints & Feedback

Complaints must be raised immediately with our representative to allow for prompt resolution.

If unresolved, a written complaint must be submitted within 28 days of travel completion.
